Berkeley Forest School

Registration is now open for Berkeley Forest School’s Summer Camp! This year, we’ll be at the Fern Picnic Site at Tilden Regional Park, and we couldn’t be more excited. We’ll play and work together on building and bushcraft skills, plant identification, foraging, natural crafting, animal tracking, and more! All camps are staffed by a team of early childhood educators experienced in cooperative learning outdoors. Berkeley Forest School is child-led and teacher-supported.

We have two programs based on children's ages:

Camp

For kids who are five years old and up as of the date of the start of camp.
Monday-Friday
9:00-1:30
Maximum of 15 kids/week.

Tot Camp

For kids who are three years up until five years old as of the first date of camp.
Monday-Thursday
9:00-12:30
Maximum of 12 kids/week.

We're excited to return to Tilden this summer for hiking, running, climbing, exploring, and blackberry picking, perhaps even finding a banana slug or six! Here's some information about our 2017 sessions:
